The National Apartment Association Education Conference & Exposition brings together more than 5,000 multifamily housing professionals for three days of the best professional development training in the industry. CallSource® CEO, Jerry Feldman, Receives Economic Engine Award

Jerry Feldman, CallSource® CEO, received the Economic Engine Award from The Valley Economic Alliance at a recent Board of Directors meeting in Sherman Oaks, California. The Economic Engine Award was created to recognize those outstanding businesses that have made a positive impact on the local economy through their successful business operations. Award winners must also be actively involved in activities and organizations that give back to their respective communities.

CallSource recently hired 61 new employees, increasing their workforce to over 170, with 130 located in Southern California and six who are recently returned veterans. CallSource also launched PrideAmerica®, a campaign to help U.S. veterans succeed at reentering the civilian workforce. “At CallSource, our mission is to train people and companies to successfully compete on a global scale. Mark Powers Slated to Speak at NAA Education Conference

CallSource President, Mark Powers, is slated to speak at the National Apartment Association Education Conference, Thursday, June 24th, from 10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m., at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Room 217-218.  In a session titled “Building Your Dynamic Culture, Developing Talent and Retaining Both Employees and Residents,” Powers will provide an in-depth look into how performance analytics and training can be used in tandem to cultivate and nurture motivated, engaged, and results oriented employees.

The session will explore why adopting the proper training model promotes the development of a dynamic corporate culture that retains talent, reduces turnover, and provides a foundation for success.  The key elements and benefits of successful training to be identified include:

  • How to improve lead conversion without outsourcing your appointment setting.
  • How a well-motivated workforce provides better service for your residents.
  • How to apply appropriate training methods to meet your business goals.
  • How a happy culture retains both employees and residents.

Doug Chasick Honored with Ace Award

The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) has announced that Doug Chasick has been chosen to receive the 2010, Apartment Career and Education (ACE) Award.  Chasick will be recognized on Friday, June 25th, at the general session of the NAA Education Conference and Exposition in New Orleans.

Chasick, CallSource Senior Vice President of Multifamily Professional Services, is receiving the ACE Award for his work as a professional educator; nationwide industry educator, and subject matter expert.  He is also a member of the NAAEI Faculty, and is the Senior Lead Instructor for the NAAEI’s “Train-the-Trainer” program, an Advanced Instructor Training (AIT) course. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Chasick has served on the NAA Board of Directors and most recently on the NAA Education Institute Board of Directors.
